A day in Brussels, Belgium

The journey:

It was the 15th of Dec, a Brussels airlines flight took us from Gothenburg (Sweden) to Brussels. We reached the destination by 2:30 in the afternoon, and took a train to the Brussels city center.
We roamed across the streets to find a thai restaurant for lunch. I had some spicy fried rice with a Hoegaarden.
Reached Brussels Town hall at around 4:00 pm. The town hall is a huge gothic architecture with a giant x-mas tree at the center (Grand-place of Brussels).

Belgium is really famous for their waffles and chocolates. We visited a lot of chocolate stores, had choco waffles too. We spent the whole day roaming around the street.
The sky got dark pretty soon (at around 5 pm). We witnessed the Brussels town hall night show at around 6 pm.

Its was freezing cold outside, had Jagarmeister shots from the street bars to warm ourselves up.
We reached the bus station by 12 am. Our bus from Brussels to Amsterdam was at 5 in the morning, but a police officer warned us that the station area is known for their notorious activities that happen in the night time. It is a bit unsafe for tourists. So, we decided to go back to the Brussels airport as the bus we booked will come through the airport.
